To build your own AXIS data package, open the Paket Suka-Suka menu in the AXISNET app. You choose the validity period, the size of the main quota, and at least one add-on quota, then pay with phone credit. AXIS explains this flow on its official Paket Suka-Suka page, complete with a price calculator.

We put this guide together from the official axis.co.id pages that we opened ourselves on 8 November 2026. It covers the steps to build a package in the app, the main quota prices for all four validity options, a price per GB breakdown, the usage rules that most people never read, and sample package combinations for different needs. The website calls its prices estimates, so always check the final number in the app before you pay.

What Is the AXIS Paket Suka-Suka and Why Is It Called Build Your Own?

The AXIS Paket Suka-Suka is a data package whose contents you decide yourself: the validity period, the main quota size, and add-on quota for specific apps. Because the buyer assembles the package, AXIS calls one of its menus Bikin Paket Sendiri, which means build your own package. The package is only sold inside the AXISNET app.

The idea is different from ready-made packages such as Bronet, whose contents are fixed by AXIS. On the Paket Internet page, each Bronet card shows one price, one quota size, and one validity period. With Paket Suka-Suka you set all three yourself and the system calculates the estimated price.

AXIS also offers a shortcut for people who do not want to build anything. Besides Bikin Paket Sendiri there is Rekomendasi Paket, a set of recommended bundles based on personas: 5G Hero, Drakor Chingu, Si GGWP, Stream Lovers, Pasukan FYP, and Sosmedholic. According to the descriptions on the official page, Si GGWP is aimed at Free Fire, Mobile Legends, AOV, Modern Combat, and HAGO players, while Drakor Chingu is for people who binge series on VIU.

What You Need Before Building Your Own AXIS Package

Before you open the menu, make sure these three things are in place. All of them come from the terms and conditions on the Paket Suka-Suka page, so they are requirements rather than general advice:

  1. An active AXIS number. Paket Suka-Suka is only for AXIS subscribers, not for numbers from other operators, even ones in the same group.
  2. A recent version of AXISNET. The Paket Suka-Suka menu appears in AXISNET from version 7.8.0 onward. If you cannot see it, update the app from Google Play or the App Store first.
  3. Enough phone credit. In its FAQ section, AXIS states that Paket Suka-Suka can currently only be paid with phone credit. E-wallets and cards cannot be used for this package.

The third point is where many people get stuck at the very last step. Work out the estimated price of your combination first, then top up a little more credit than that. If you usually fund game purchases with a digital wallet, remember that this is a different payment path. Our guide to e-wallets for game top ups applies to game vouchers, not to this package.

How to Build an AXIS Package with Paket Suka-Suka

AXIS lists six activation steps on its official page. We copied the order below and added practical notes for each step:

  1. Download or open the AXISNET app. It is free on Google Play and the App Store. Log in with your AXIS number.
  2. Choose the Paket Suka-Suka menu. This menu stands on its own, separate from the Bronet list and the entertainment packages.
  3. Choose Bikin Paket Sendiri or Rekomendasi Paket. Pick Bikin Paket Sendiri if you want to control everything, or Rekomendasi Paket if you prefer a ready-made persona bundle.
  4. Choose the duration and the main quota amount. The main quota covers 2G, 3G, and 4G internet and forms the core of the package.
  5. Choose the add-on quota type and amount. At least one add-on is required, and you can pick up to three.
  6. Tap Lanjut and complete the activation. Check the summary and the final price, then confirm payment with your phone credit.

One thing to keep in mind at step 6: Paket Suka-Suka does not renew automatically. Term number 13 on the official page says so plainly. This is different from the automatic activation feature promoted on the AXISNET page, so do not assume your package will refresh itself when it expires.

Main Quota Prices for Paket Suka-Suka

The calculator on the Paket Suka-Suka page offers four validity options: 3, 7, 14, and 28 days. Each option has its own list of main quota sizes. We copied the tables below straight from that calculator by clicking each validity option one at a time on 8 November 2026.

We calculated the price per GB column ourselves by dividing the official price by the quota size and rounding to the nearest rupiah. It only covers the main quota. Since every purchase must include at least one add-on quota, the total you pay is always slightly higher than the price column, as the estimate in the AXIS calculator shows.

Add-on Quota: The Part You Must Choose

Add-on quota is app or category specific quota that is attached to the main quota. Terms 6 and 7 on the official page say that subscribers must choose one main quota and at least one add-on quota, with a maximum of three single app add-ons.

The web calculator only shows one example add-on per validity option, which is YouTube quota. For the full list, AXIS points buyers to the app with the line "Mau lihat pilihan lengkap? Cek di Aplikasi", meaning check the app for all options. The examples shown in the calculator on 8 November 2026 were:

Sample add-on quota and default estimates shown by the AXIS calculator (8 November 2026)
ValidityAdd-on shownAdd-on priceDefault calculator estimate
3 daysSuka-Suka YouTube 1 GB 3 daysRp2,500Rp10,700 (with 1 GB main quota)
7 daysSuka-Suka YouTube 1 GB 7 daysRp3,700Rp16,000 (with 1.5 GB main quota)
14 daysSuka-Suka YouTube 3 GB 14 daysRp8,700Rp36,200 (with 5 GB main quota)
28 daysSuka-Suka YouTube 3 GB 28 daysRp10,200Rp45,200 (with 7 GB main quota)

Those default estimates match simple addition: the smallest main quota price plus the add-on price. For 28 days, for example, Rp35,000 plus Rp10,200 equals Rp45,200. The calculator also lists a 5G Unlimited Gaming and TikTok bonus under the add-on quota. That bonus is claimed separately through the Playground menu and is not added automatically, as explained in the bonus section further below.

Quota Usage Order and the Rules People Miss

This part of the terms decides whether your custom package feels economical or wasteful. There are four rules to understand before you buy, all written on the Paket Suka-Suka page:

  • Usage order. App quota is used first, then the quota in Kota-mu (your city quota), and only then the main quota.
  • After the quota runs out. Regular internet rates apply under the current tariff scheme, so your credit can be charged if you keep browsing.
  • No rollover. Unused quota does not accumulate, and all remaining quota expires when the validity period ends.
  • Buying more than once. If the validity period is the same, the quota stacks and the validity follows the latest purchase. If the validity periods differ, each package runs separately.

The thirteen official terms of Paket Suka-Suka. Numbers 8, 10, 12, and 13 have the biggest effect on the value you get. Screenshot: axis.co.id, captured 8 November 2026.

You can use the repeat purchase rule to your advantage. If your 7 day quota runs out on day four, buying another 7 day package adds to your quota and restarts the validity from the latest purchase. Mixing a 3 day and a 28 day package, on the other hand, makes them run independently, so you will need to check your remaining quota in AXISNET more often.

How to Claim the 5G Unlimited Gaming and TikTok Bonus

The 5G Unlimited Gaming and TikTok bonus is not selected in the calculator; it is claimed from a different menu. The official page lists four steps:

  1. Open the AXISNET app and choose the Playground menu.
  2. Choose Parade Bonus.
  3. Choose Bonus Pasti.
  4. Claim the Unlimited TikTok and Gaming 5G bonus.

Note the word 5G in the bonus name. The bonus is most useful when your phone supports 5G and you are inside AXIS 5G coverage. The Paket Suka-Suka page has a Cek Area Jaringan 5G button so you can confirm coverage. If you play competitive games, network quality matters as much as quota size, which we also cover in our guide to cheap data packages for gamers.

Reading Price per GB: TERHEMAT Is Not Always the Cheapest

When the 28 day option is selected, the AXIS calculator labels the 14 GB main quota at Rp50,000 as TERHEMAT, which means best value. Per GB, that works out to Rp3,571. The 60 GB option at Rp100,000 costs only Rp1,667 per GB, and 600 GB at Rp300,000 drops to Rp500 per GB.

Bar chart of the price per GB of the 28 day Paket Suka-Suka main quota from 7 GB to 600 GB, falling from Rp5,000 to Rp500 per GB
The price per GB falls sharply once the main quota passes 35 GB. The TERHEMAT label on 14 GB is better read as a popular choice for moderate use. Chart: Digidang team, based on official axis.co.id prices as of 8 November 2026.

So the label is not wrong, but it is not the answer for everyone either. A low price per GB only saves money if you actually use the quota. Because leftover quota does not roll over, buying 140 GB and using only 20 GB pushes your effective price to Rp7,500 per GB. A more honest benchmark is last month's usage, which you can see through the quota check feature in AXISNET.

Comparing validity options is revealing too. A 30 GB main quota for 3 days costs Rp33,500, almost the same as 7 GB for 28 days at Rp35,000. The first suits a short burst of heavy use, such as downloading a large game update during a holiday. The second suits light use across a whole month. Both figures come from the official calculator.

Sample Paket Suka-Suka Combinations for Different Needs

To make it easier to picture, here are sample combinations we built from the official prices in the AXIS calculator. The add-on used is the YouTube quota shown on the website, because it is the only add-on whose price we could verify. In the app you can swap it for another app quota that suits you better.

The totals in the table are the sum of the prices shown on the website, the same way the calculator computes its estimate. The final price in the app may differ, because on the same page AXIS says the best and cheapest prices are found in the AXISNET app. Treat this table as an upper budget limit.

Tips to Keep Your Custom Package from Being Wasteful

Building your own package gives you freedom, but that freedom also makes it easier to choose badly. These habits help you get the most out of every rupiah of credit:

  1. Start from your usage data, not from labels. Check how many GB you used last month, then pick a main quota slightly above it.
  2. Pick an add-on for your most data hungry app. Because app quota is used first, the right add-on protects your main quota.
  3. Match the validity when you buy again. With the same validity, leftover quota stacks instead of running separately.
  4. Set a reminder before the validity ends. The package does not renew automatically, and leftover quota expires when the validity ends.
  5. Keep some credit available. Payment is only by phone credit, and once quota runs out the regular rate eats into the remaining credit.

If your credit keeps disappearing to regular rates, the Lock Pulsa feature in AXISNET is worth switching on. AXISNET also has a Convert Pulsa feature that turns small leftover credit into quota. For subscribers of other operators, we cover similar flows in our guides on buying an XL data package, topping up an Indosat package, and buying a cheap Telkomsel package.

Having enough quota also matters when you buy game items. A top up that drops halfway through often makes people panic. If that happens, read our guide on fixing a failed game top up first, and to choose a safe place to buy, see how to choose a game top up platform and how to top up online games safely.

Paket Suka-Suka or a Ready-Made Package?

Paket Suka-Suka makes the most sense for people with a clear usage pattern, for example heavy YouTube viewers or players who spend every day in one particular game. A custom mix keeps quota from being wasted on apps you rarely open. If you want convenience, package cards such as Bronet on the AXIS Paket Internet page can be bought without assembling anything.

The easiest way to decide is to compare price per GB. Work out the price per GB of the ready-made package you usually buy, then compare it with the tables above for the same validity. If the gap is small, the convenience of a ready-made package may be worth more. If the gap is large, or you need quota for a specific app, Paket Suka-Suka is the better deal. Gamers may also want to read how to top up Mobile Legends diamonds cheaply and how to top up Free Fire diamonds so that the quota budget and the game budget both stay under control.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I build my own AXIS package?

Open the AXISNET app, choose the Paket Suka-Suka menu, then choose Bikin Paket Sendiri. Set the validity period, the main quota size, and at least one add-on quota, then tap Lanjut and pay with phone credit. The official steps are on the axis.co.id Paket Suka-Suka page.

Why can't I see the Paket Suka-Suka menu in AXISNET?

Your app version is most likely too old. According to the official terms on axis.co.id, Paket Suka-Suka is available in AXISNET from version 7.8.0. Update the app from Google Play or the App Store, then log in again with your AXIS number.

Can I pay for Paket Suka-Suka with an e-wallet?

No. The FAQ section on the official page says Paket Suka-Suka can currently only be bought with phone credit. Top up enough credit to cover the estimated price of your combination first.

What is the cheapest Paket Suka-Suka?

In the axis.co.id calculator on 8 November 2026, the cheapest combination was a 1 GB main quota for 3 days at Rp8,200 plus a 1 GB YouTube add-on at Rp2,500, for an estimated total of Rp10,700.

Does leftover Paket Suka-Suka quota roll over?

Generally no. Leftover quota expires when the validity ends. The exception is buying another Paket Suka-Suka with the same validity before the old one runs out: the quota then stacks and the validity follows the latest purchase. This rule is written in the official terms and conditions.

Which quota is used first?

According to the official terms, app quota is used first, then the quota in Kota-mu, and only then the main quota. After all quota runs out, regular internet rates apply.

No. Term number 13 on the Paket Suka-Suka page says the package does not renew automatically. You need to buy it again manually every time the validity ends.

How many add-on quotas can I choose?
