Roblox Redeem Code Tutorial 2026: Step-by-Step Guide
This Roblox redeem code tutorial for 2026 works for every code type: open roblox.com/redeem in a web browser, log in, type the code into the Code box and press Redeem. Gift cards add Roblox Credit, while promo and virtual item codes add an item to your inventory right away.
How do you redeem a Roblox code?
You redeem a Roblox code on the official redeem page, roblox.com/redeem, in any web browser on a computer or phone. Sign in to the account that should receive the value, enter the code, and press Redeem. Roblox Support says the standard app and consoles have no redeem screen (Roblox Support).
The same page accepts gift card codes, virtual item codes and promo codes. The form itself says so: "Enter your gift card, virtual item, or promo code below." So there is no separate page to hunt for, and no third-party site is ever needed.
Redeem a Roblox code on a computer, step by step
- Open the redeem page. Type roblox.com/redeem into the address bar yourself instead of clicking an ad or a shortened link.

Use the Log In button at the top right. Check the username before going further, because the value stays on whichever account is signed in.

A gift card balance appears as Roblox Credit under the Redeem button.
We could not photograph the confirmation message itself, because that would mean spending a real code. Everything before it is shown exactly as the page looks today.
Redeem a Roblox code on a phone
On iPhone, iPad and most Android phones the Roblox app has no redeem screen, so you use the phone browser instead (Roblox Support). The page is the same one, just stacked for a narrow screen.
- Open Safari, Chrome or another browser and go to roblox.com/redeem.

- Go back to the Roblox app. Items are already in your inventory. Gift card Credit has to be turned into Robux in the browser first (see below).
Samsung Galaxy exception: in the Roblox app on a Samsung Galaxy phone, open the More page, tap the Redeem tile and enter the code there. This is the only app where Roblox allows in-app redemption.

Promo code, virtual item code or gift card: what do you get?
- Gift card code: adds Roblox Credit to the account, which you can convert into Robux. Amazon and Party Packs gift cards are the exception and add Robux directly.
- Virtual item code: adds a specific avatar item. Every Roblox gift card also includes one free virtual item.
- Promo code: adds a free item from an event or partnership while the promotion runs.

Roblox code not working? Common problems and fixes

After redeeming: turn Roblox Credit into Robux
Roblox Credit can only be used in a web browser, not inside the Roblox apps (Roblox Support). To convert it:
- Stay signed in on roblox.com/redeem. Your Available Credit is shown under the Redeem button.
- Select Get Robux. Roblox pre-selects the largest package your Credit can pay for.
- Click Buy and confirm.
- If Credit is left over, choose Buy again to convert the rest, or Cancel to keep it for later.
